Mom, What if I Was a Worm?

One day, a little girl by the name of Yana went up and asked her mom a question,

"Mommy?",

Said young Yana, the mother then turned around with a mad expression on her face and looked upon Yana and said,

"What you brat? Can't you see I'm on the phone with my boss!?",

Mother said shouting at Yana, Yana didn't care of how many times her mother would shout at her, nor, the countless times she's gotten hit by her mother, she just thinks her mom is way to busy and she's being a burden, and so, bravely young Yana was, she spoke up and said,

"Mommy, what if I was a worm?",

The mom then scoffed and laughed at Yana, and then said with a laugh in her voice,

"Hah, a worm? What do you mean?",

The mom says laughing and questioning Yana for such a dumb question, Yana bravely then says again,

"Mommy, If I was a worm, would you still love me? Care for me? Protect me?",

Yana says hoping for a nice answer, her mother then spoke up in a kind tone,

"Ye- No",

Says the mother joking at Yana laughing, Yana then said with a stutter in her voice,

"U..uhm.. Mommy.. Wha.. what would y..you do if a b..bird flew a..at me..?",

Once again, the mom laughed and said,

"I would let it finish you and then tame that bird as my pet for killing my daughter of a worm!",

The mom laughs at Yana and turned back to the phone, Yana then ran to her room and cried all night, a few months later, her mother married a man and had another child, it was a boy, they named him Uan, Yana loved her brother, until one day, -Months Later- Uan went to his mom and said,

"Mommy!",

The mom on the phone then kindly turned facing Uan, Yana was about to walk in until she saw him, she sat there and peeked, the mother in a kind tone says,

"Yes dear?",

Uan then says,

"Mommy! What if I was a worm?",

Surprised, Yana had a quiet giggle she could only hear, knowing that her mother would just say the same thing she said to her, mom then spoke up and said,

"Hm? What do you mean?",

Mom says questioning Uan, Uan then speaks up and says,

"If I was a worm, would you still care, love and protect me as well?",

Uan says, mom then says,

"Awh, Yes I would, I don't care how disgusting and slimy you are, your still my son!",

Says the mom with a soft and kind voice, Yana mad and surprised heard what she said and covers her mouth trying not to leave out tears, Yana then waits for Uan to say the next part of the sentence, Uan then speaks up and says,

"If a birdy flew at me, what would you do?",

Uan says, the mom then gasped and says,

"Oh no! I would kill the birdy with my gun! No one hurts my son!",

She says picking up Uan and holding him in her arms, Yana started crying and burst in and said with tears flowing her eyes, both, mom, and the son looked at her, including the dad who just came out the bathroom, Yana spoke up with a mad expression while tears run from her eyes,

"WHY HIM!? WHY DO YOU HATE ME BUT LOVE HIM!!! I ASKED YOU THE SAME QUESTION AND YOU WERE SO MEAN! I LOVED YOU MOM! Or should I call you... Lady..",

Yana says shouting in rage, she then said,

"I HATE YOU!!!",

She points at her mother, she then shouts again,

"I HATE YOU UAN AND YOU MAN! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU!",

Yana says running out the room to her room and slamming it shut, the father with a sad expression sits on the bed, and the mom remembering how bad she was back then sat on the bed too with a sad expression, Uan not knowing what's going on runs to Yana's room, the mom then speaks up and says,

"Wha...What have I done..",

She says hugging her partner, the father then says,

"You should apologize to her.. Okay..?",

The mom nodded her head and gets up to go out the room until she heard Uan screaming their names, they both ran up to Yana's room.. and were left in tears, Yana had stabbed herself multiple times... In the neck.. head... stomach.. and heart.. she was.. dead.. She was also left with old scars from the mother abusing her.. Later on, they all sobbed at her grave, and the father divorced the mother and took his son with him, the mother soon was put in jail for not only hurting her daughter.. Also killing innocent children she had babysitted.. The mom was then set up for the shocking chair.
