Monster

You're a monster and you know what you are,

On the exterior you won't admit it because then you won't seem all up to par,

I've watched you for years torture every living being in your path,

All because you want to feel like you're a man during your wrath,

You're not even human in my eyes anymore,

You've ruined yourself all the way to the core,

Even the villains from my childhood movies seemed like they could be saved,

But you cannot because there is no turning back from the way you have behaved,

I want you to finally look in a mirror and see yourself,

See the bloodshot eyes, the yellow teeth, and the pills that have torn you apart sitting on the shelf,

But you never will because as far as you're concerned you don't have a problem right?

I can see that you're already too far gone every night,

But you don't care because the only people suffering are the ones being poisoned around you,

It's not a problem in your eyes unless it's hurting you too,

You're not even a person anymore,

All you are is the skeleton of someone who used to exist crying on the floor,

But that's the thing, little red riding hood got away,

And so will I some day.
