Monsters

Don't close your eyes, not even a wink.

The monsters are closer than you think.

Don't go to sleep, it'll be a mistake.

The monsters will be there once you're awake.

Don't try to hide, there's nowhere to run.

The monsters are ready to have some fun.

Don't fight them off, you know they're too strong.

The monsters will win if just one move is wrong.

Don't listen to them, they'll make you go mad.

The monsters have voices that are so very bad.

Don't let them touch you, or all hope will be lost.

The monsters will get you at any cost.

Don't struggle when they catch you, there will be no escape.

The monsters are ruthless, they slice and they scrape.

Once they are finished, and done with the chase.

The monsters will leave without a trace.

So don't close your eyes, not even a wink.

The monsters are closer than you think.
