Nature (Φύση)
Lorient Montaner-From my text on the Logos (The Word).
Nature in itself is a purity shaped by the Nous and governed by the Logos. It is the Enas that gives it animation and existence. It is one of the three elements that includes the cosmos and Enas that forms the pillar of the Meletic belief. It is the representation of life and the actual image of reality. Everything that exists either transforms into nature, or it becomes nature. Its substance is the resemblance of the truth that we seemingly perceive, but underneath that appearance is the beauty that is only understood by our enlightened minds. It is not corrupted by the indifference of mankind. Nature evolves just like human beings evolve in their lives. It belongs to the cycle of change and life and death of which we belong to also.
We are not the true owners of nature as we are not owners of the planet. We are keepers of nature, and what good we do with it is reflected in our humanity. We can forsake it or be conscious about its function in the universal order that is the Logos. This order is a continuation of the influence of the Enas. The philosophy inspired by Meleticism is one that teaches us to value nature and appreciate its inherent simplicity. When we deeply connect with nature through contemplation or meditation, we are not only one with it, but one as well with the cosmos and the Enas. When the sun shines its radiant light upon us in the morning, it is a clear reminder that the Enas is present. Its emanations are what stimulate nature.
We could believe in the idea of a god that creates nature, or a force greater that transcends a god and is the ultimate source to all things existential in nature. A Oneness that shapes nature not in the transparent image of creation or volition. Instead, shapes nature in the original essence of its substance. A substance that defines the boundaries of our known reality and produces multiplicity. Nature has no predestined owner. Nor is it reduced to the effects of a divine conception. Nature is not a possession of the Enas. For if it was, then the Enas would be considered a worthy god. On the contrary, the Enas is not a god. It cannot create something that came from nothing or make nature seem to be the indicative cause of its power. The Enas merely is the reason for nature's existence.
Nature is related to our human nature. The essence of nature is similar to our essence. We both exist and are universal in the lucid sense. This is what enables us to connect with it. We could easily ignore its relevance or embrace its function in our world. The signs of the Enas are everywhere in nature. It is nature that teaches us to accept ourselves and to be one with it in harmony. Nature can be assumed to be cruel, but it is our misunderstanding of its reality. For centuries, it has co-existed with human beings, and it is we who have caused more destruction to the planet than it. We must learn to explore nature for what it really means and for the purpose it has in our material world. Nature has a breath that is eternal and an existence that is full of animation.
