Nobody Should

If I can stop one's heart from breaking,
I did not live without a purpose.

If I found somebody a home,
for them to love,
then I lived with a purpose.

If I pushed someone into the correct path,
to stop them from sliding to doom,
then my life has a meaning.

If I found affection and care for a person,
then I have done something.

I did not live in vain,
and nobody should.
