I just want you to know,
That I miss you and I.
I miss our life,
Our time just easily passing by.
I just want you to know,
You matter to me.
I’m still in here,
But you are, somehow, not free.
I want you to see,
You’re alive right now.
Even if you can’t feel it
Standing alone, on the edge of your bough.
No matter what happens,
You still can be.
Wherever you end up,
It won’t be for eternity.
Remember to breath,
Relax and pull through.
Because you’re not alone out there,
I’m in here too.
If you won’t save yourself,
Than please think this through.
Because I’m alive as well,
So please, save me from you.
Author Notes: This is a poem that I wrote as an attempt to find relief from my depression. I suffer from extreme depression and anxiety. I miss my old self. This is a note I wrote hoping he can still here me.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and, maybe in some existential way, help me through this.
