On the Town

We’re on the town! It’s me and you!

There’s lots of things to see and do.

We’ll meet our friends, both old and new.

They’ll join us and they’ll have fun too!

On the town on our weekend nights,

Pavements are full, there’s lots of lights.

A week’s work has given us rights,

To enjoy the wonderful sights.

Excitement with no thought or care,

For magic joy hangs in the air.

Whether in a gang or a pair.

Adventures and laughs are out there!

On the town with our best friends,

When our glee and spirits ascend!

Hope our enjoyment never ends…
