My life amiss,

causing distress,

wishing my feelings to dismiss,

but it's not something i possess;

swimming in sorrow,

suffocating in pain,

will i make it to tomrrow,

or will i go with the rain;

struggling to see,

the light up ahead,

struggling to be,

loving instead,

people don't understand,

they can be mean,

respect they demand,

their arrogance is seen,

i do better without others,

at least i try to say,

but without the guidance of another,

could i survive the next day?
