Phantom Ship
Phantom Ship

Phantom Ship

MistyJJPAmber Jones

The stars twinkle like holes in a vast expanse of black,

Ground rolling in gentle hills,

The moon shines with an aromatic innocence,

Silvery rays gently caressing the land,

And through the chilling silence,

A ship sails,

Silently gliding through the night,

Never heading to a souls plight.

Ghostly sails fluttering,

It's hull a pearly white,

Unlikely friends,

And a latter denied all mortals,

Lest they leave behind,

That which will be torn asunder.

They call it the Phantom ship,

Creeping through the night,

It tempts and brings others to the other side.

Creeping through the night,

Avoid the silent death,

Lest ye wish a tempted trap.
