Reflection (σκέψη)
Lorient Montaner-From my text on the Logos (The Word).
When we think of something, we tend to ponder at length, the meaning and purpose of that thing that occupies our minds. It is a unique plane of consciousness that we reach that enables us to reconcile the past with the present. This form of consideration is one that is philosophical in its essence and profound in its wisdom. It is called reflection. Why is it important? It is important because it shapes our character and enhances our virtues. We become more knowledgeable with each experience, and when we apply the senses, we are evoking a greater order of thinking that is rationality. To reflect upon one's life is not to concede to our fallibilities, but to strengthen our minds with genuine substance. To determine that there is value in living, as there is striving with our effort and commitment.
Decisions appear to be made every day on issues that affect us in one way or the other. It is how we react to them that has validity to our responses. It is through our reasoning that we ultimately understand the truth, and with that truth, we begin the process of following the course of our fate. Nothing in life is guaranteed as being representative of happiness. We must find that happiness, as we must remember to meditate our actions and their consequential effects. Our soul guides our resilience and our conscience guides our thoughts. The foundation of Meleticism is built upon the principles of logical necessity and contemplation. It does not signify that we must be intellectual in order to comprehend the function of reflection. A man that thinks deeply and acts according to his ethics is a man who will one day be a sage or philosopher, if his mind is enlightened.
The belief in the Enas is just as relevant, as the belief in oneself. The One allows us to explore the different periods of our lives and emerge our thoughts in the levels of vivid consciousness. The lessons of life are meant to be considered experiences that teach us to reflect upon our mistakes or inabilities. Gradually, we grow as individuals and become cognisant about our morality to distinguish what is right from wrong. The idea that we should establish is that philosophy is a viable practice that consolidates our character. To a Meletic, character is essential to the progress of the self, and with that acknowledgement, the self exemplifies our identity. When we realise that we are sentient beings than only forms of matter, then we can proceed to use our consciousness with our keen intuition.
The more that we examine and study the intrinsic mechanisms of the world, the more that we have the potentiality of expanding the developments of our actuality. We live in a world that is the creation of our thoughts and ideas. A reality that we have created with our innovations. The process of reflection is one that corresponds to our consciousness. The inner self represents in its essence, who we are as a man with ethics. What we achieve with our reflection are equanimity and serenity. Reflection is a powerful application that influences us. It can either be intensified by our decisions or rendered ineffective by our actions. The Enas is a semblance of our reality, as it is the revelation of our truth. When we breathe nature, we breathe life. When we see nature, we witness the One in its universal reflection.
