Shades of Blue
Blue ocean wind sweeps my mind,
on driftwood shore I sleep upon
under crescent moon and stars
with waves of oil ring clouds.
From the vast endless sea, my subconscience
she arose quiet, innocent,
angelic face and a gentle touch,
human and fish, human and mer.
Drape beauty and wrapped softly
her long hair cradles my bare
and comforts me with warmth
like a new-born child.
My protector, my oversee
brings serendipity unscathed
from nightmares and evil surround
that prowl and stalk in shadows and plants.
No smile, just wondernous her face
stares deep into mine,
thinking what I’m dreaming,
but she will never know.
