Silent Moments
By scorp
The silent moments,
in the forest,
where the branches of the trees reach for stars,
where the roots run deep,
where the waterfalls pools into the abyss of the earth.
The silent moments,
in the depths of the ocean,
where bubbles float to the surface,
where the deep blue crashes,
where the seafoam mixes with broken dreams.
The silent moments,
in the expanse of the sky,
where the stars twinkle,
where the sun sets and rises,
where the clouds float by escaping souls.
The silent moments,
too much to bear.
The silence too loud,
too much to take on.
Nothing moves,
nothing breathes.
Nothing lives.
Author Notes: welp this was dark.
