Some Poems Written by Me and My Friend

STAPLER

Cries in pain,
"Everyone found a perfect match;
I am just the match maker.
Why cant I find a perfect match for me?"
Click, click.
Kids call me a little chomping alligator-
I am very dangerous.
All I am is a lonely tool
Used to stick papers together.
Even when I yell "Use Me!" all they do is ignore.
I wish I could be a paper.
One day the paper thanked me.
I blushed. I think I found my match.

FRIENDS

They are always great,
No one can beat their greatness,
They are the best kids.
They help me in school,
They are always there for me,
School and sports and all day.
They play with me all day,
They join my game in Minecraft,
They build blocks on blocks.
We all are best friends,
Sleepovers, hangouts all week
Those kids are my friends.

THE PERSON

If you're looking for me
Find me where the earth meets the sea,
Or just beyond if I'm lucky.
Find me breathing air from the tallest tree.
Find my messy hair knotting in a trade wind breeze.
Find my tired eyes miles from town
On the clearest of nights.
Find my restless toes kissing the edge of a waterfall goodbye.
I won't be waiting.

LAZY

I'm watching TV
Sprawled lazily on the couch
Dumb ads take over
