To tame the darkness in my mind
The turmoil that is deep inside

Different people walking by
Leaving prints on each chapter in this book called life
No one knowing what difference they can make

Some will stay and some will go
But no one knows the things I know
The darkness starts to grow its my mistake

Another story to be told
A friendship slowly starts to grow
And before I know it I'm letting down your walls

But the good times slowly start to fade
And the happiness has gone away
And I turn to run but there's no where left to hide

The thoughts that run inside my mind
Has done their course and it is time
To face the truth of what I have become
With fear racing through my veins
I let out a scream I let go of the pain
As I stand there all alone in the night
