Sounds Are Precious

Sounds can be precious

they can be as sweet as a child's laugh

or the birds singing their enchanting songs

you can hear the sweet patter of the falling rain

or the howling of the calling wind

Sounds can be happy or sounds can be sad

they can be the cries of war

of the cries of a loved one's struggles

but they can also bring joy

such as the sounds of love

or a joyous laugh

Sounds control our moods and emotions

they breathe life into us every day

and help us learn every day

The world is full of magical sound

the night

the morning

the day

So be grateful for the precious sounds of the world.
