storm

By scorp

The storm brews within my sight
Angry clouds blocking the light
Lightning splits a tree apart
I could barely hear the rain over the thundering of my heart.

The wind howls and the clouds never subsides
I can feel the heaven's pain as it cries
The low rumble of the earth shook me to my core
The storm charged the air like never before

The rain lasts a lifetime
Washing away the dirt and grime
As soon as I could see the clear blue sky
I saw the angels, blinding my eyes

it was calm, finally at peace
The sun part of the azure's centerpiece.
