Strength Through Him

When she was young her thoughts were short

now she is older and looks to God for support.

She tried to be human, walking only in the flesh

but she noticed she was different, she was different from the rest.

No not that she's better

no not that she's above, just that she doesn't belong to this world.

If you met her, she would be oh so sweet

from her head to her waist and down to her feet

like leaves in the wind she'll follow His lead

and to church she will go, she will go there to feed.

She's open to many but not many enough

gaining strength through Him she'll learn to be tough,

to walk with her head high from the moment she learned to live to the moment that she dies.
