That Time of the Month

It was That Time of the Month again, the time when my usually placid and easy-going wife and mother to our three kids became possessed, apparently. For several days it was like living with a monster in the house.

I bore the brunt of her tantrums and mood swings, of course, but even the kids -- as young as they were -- knew to avoid their mum when she was in the midst of her ‘Monthly Madness’. It was safer to just keep a low profile.

It was That Time of the Month again: time to pay the household bills!
