Fifteen years later
"Andrew?" I whisper.
"BOO!!" Andrew jumps out and I yelp.
"Asshole." I mumble and he pulls me into a hug.
"But I'm your brother." He says in a whimpering voice.
"True." I laugh and pull outta the hug.
"Andrew Millena!" Rosalie yells and we both wince at the harshness in it.
"Time for the auction. Hopefully someone will buy us both," He grabs my hand and walks out with me shuffling foreward behind him.
"Hopefully." I whisper.
The auction starts
"Starting with these two siblings-- Ana and Andrew. Fifteen and twenty-one! We're gonna start at 30k dollars?"
Five hands go up.
All male.
"100k!"
Four hands down.
We've been sold.
"Finally." Andrew says in relief and I smile.
All these people are good people, they know Rosalie and Marshal sell kids to other people once they become ten. Local people, usually rich people, come to buy us, but are nice to everyone poor and gives money and food.
I walk to me and Andrew's small room and grab the duffle bag I got on m 10th birthday and stuff it full of clothes and essential items.
"Brats, the man is here." Rosalie barks at us and we hurry downstairs.
"Sissy!" Alexandra yells and I pick him up.
"Yes, Alex?"
"Where going?"
"Sissys going to a good place." I say and he leans his head against my chest.
"But I wanna go to good place." he says and saddness envelopes me.
"We can't bring you. Mommy won't let us." I glare at Rosalie.
"Man can take us, though! He keep us safe!"
"Yes, I can." a deep voice says at the front door and I lift my head up.
"Hell no, you can't!" Rosalie exclaims.
I rush out the door with Alexander in my arms and Andrew at my heel.
Author Notes: Seems harsh the kids get sold at 10, but to them it is a way for freedom. None of the people at the auctions are mean people BTW
