Write down words on sealed pages,
For the sun and the moon.
The sun is a marvelous and graceful figure,
The moon is dull and quiet.
Unlike the sun, the moon is easier to embrace.
The sun as charming as it may be is very cunning,
Not to mention apathetic.
The moon, a modest being,
Who fed off the light of the sun,
Is careful and kind.
Though they have many faces,
They loved with each one.
The words they spoke were never corrupted,
Every verse was truthful.
Most ignored the simplicity of the moon,
Giving in to the flashy ways of the sun to be cherished for a minute and forgotten for hours.
While those close to the moon were safely hidden in the dark;
Away from the sun's rays’.
