The Darkness Inside of Me

I feel it clawing me.
Clawing to come out.
Striving, fighting to come out, to rage.
It wants to shout.
It wants to scream.
Somebody help me.
I can control it no more.
I feel the darkness coming out.
It's all I see in the mirror.
It's all I think about.
The darkness swirling inside of me.
It reaches, wanting, clawing to come out.
I must resist the urge.
I must stop it.
I must get rid of it,
the pain.
