The Flavour Gray

The Flavour Gray

By Bitter

Your heart is as cold as a January day,

Slowly beating your gray life away.

You try to forget your past decisions in life,

And walk away from the knife.

Which cuts as deep as any lie,

Making you feel, you wish to die.

You are like a statue chiseled from a boulder,

You live like a stone as you get older.

You no longer have feelings except for despair,

Thinking about how your life had turned gray in one simple tear.

Your head filled with words of regret,

Starting with the day when you first met,

You know that it's too late to start again,

For you've switched the sadness meter from 1 to 10.

You try to see the colours of a new day,

But instead you only taste, the Flavour Gray.
