The Frown Turned Upside Down

In The Land of Smiles there lived a Frown
The Frown wanted to turn her pout upside down
But no matter what or how she tried
The Frown kept showing on the outside

She tried to turn it over by doing a flip
But the smile flipped backed to a frown on her lip
The Frown tried to turn herself upside down
It wanted a smile for a while but it couldn't be found

She tried to roll down a large sloping hill
Hoping her frown would likely spill
Spill into laughter, here ever after
Boy that would be a lifetime thrill

But the Smile didn't last long, it was all wrong
The Frown came straight back, all crooked and long
Her Frown was sad and quivered and shook
And all the Smiles heard and took a look

All the Smiles turned to frowns, feeling upside down
They were all unhappy and made unhappy sounds
The Frown looked around and wondered what was the buzz
And saw all the frowns and how sad everyone was

"They are all sad for me." Said the Frown
And all of a sudden her Frown turned Upside Down
A smile swept across her lips
And all the Frowns saw this

They looked on and they stared right in
And their Frowns turned into super wide grins
The Land of Smiles was known as the happiest place around
And the largest smile was that of the Frown that turned Upside Down
