The Mean Girl

You see her as the mean girl
and maybe
that's what she is.
But do not fret
she'll leave here soon.
She always does
then she'll be gone
for good
She won't come back
(nothing personal).
She doesn't have a choice .
But please,
listen here
there's something you must know.
She's really not the mean girl
it's all just one big show.
She's just been really hurt
and she's really sorry.
She's been through so much;

She knows that's not an excuse .
She is sorry
for being just so mean
It's cause she's so depressed.
But please forgive her
it's not her fault.
You see her as the mean girl
but I see her as me.
