The Unspoken Serenity (Η ανείπωτη γαλήνη)

-From my text on the Logos (The Word).

Meditation is an ancient practice with profound contemplation. Its purpose is to connect the mind, body and soul, not only in the mental capacity, but with also the cosmos, nature and the Enas. In Meleticism, there is a unique state of mind that is reached through our consciousness and realisation of the influence of the soul.

It has no heavy sound, yet it resonates in the gentle stir of time, like the stillness of the wind or the sea that surrounds this stillness. It is called the unspoken serenity. A serenity that has no tone in words or cadence in voice. It is the expression of the silent mind.

When the mind is on the same frequency with the One, it transcends the finite nature of things. What results is the vision of a deeper reality that is present in the One. The serenity that is discovered is one that teaches us to explore the metaphysical path of enlightenment and fulfilment. It is a place, where no god can take us, nor any heaven can be greater than this bliss.

Within our consciousness, we are awakened by the illustration of nature that manifests into art or beauty in some form. The serenity that is sought through the practice of self-awareness is one that resembles the quietude of a humble reflection.

A reflection that can be assumed to be the true essence of the soul revealed. The idea that we have the power from within us to ascertain the meaning of life and its understanding should make us contemplate the distinction between things of necessities and things of mere desires.

We often find ourselves searching for true guidance in our hour of conflict. What we ultimately find is an inner peace, amidst the strife of adversity and chaos. The cosmos has a viable order that governs with laws and the mind, body and soul have as well.

The unspoken serenity is a form of cleansing one's soul and healing the self. The ousia which is our essence blossoms with the revelation of the truth we discover, within this process of meditation and self-acceptance.

The One or the Enas does not answer prayers or supplications. Instead, it gives us the foundation in philosophy to adhere to the principles of reason and the empowerment of the will. It is through these actions that we become one with our human nature. The balance that is achieved then is one that reminds us of the importance of such virtues as temperance and fortitude.

Wisdom which is one of the most applicable virtues serves to teach us the value of life. We learn to appreciate the truth, when that truth is unveiled and understood. We should listen more to our wisdom than hasten in our actions.

To be in the stillness of the wind is to become that stillness, and to be the stillness of the sea is to become that stillness. Neither the wind nor sea can be disturbed. So too this stillness within us cannot be disturbed, for it is imperturbability that transcends the horizon of materiality.

When we are in this contemplative state of mind, no unsteady waves of thoughts can disrupt the core of our heightened consciousness. Our breath becomes a mild breeze and our body motionless, as our mind elevates into the sphere of another reality.

It is like a deep sleep that takes us on the journey, where our thoughts connect with our memories past or present. When we awake, our soul is invigorated and our self is transformed. It is the power of the One we discover. It is enlightening and fulfilling. The once stillness begins to encompass us with its simplicity.
