THE WISH

I wish that we could find a way
to make it back someday
in times when we use to say
that everything's gonna be okay.

I wish the years had not pass by
and so to me you would not say goodbye
'cause I'd rather think all these were lies
so all the nights won't be tears and cries.

I wish to be wherever you are
beyond the clouds away and afar
to rise with you like a morning star
so close in sight and yet so far.

I wish once more to hear your laughter
to remind that life is truly a wonder
I promise you from now and ever
the love we shared will live forever.
