Tomorrow's Troubles

Tomorrow is a forgiving friend; she visits everyday without fail. I'd always wait eagerly for her visit and was glad knowing she was only ever one day away. Day after day she'd visit me and every time I looked forward to it. However, life is dynamic and things change.

Tomorrow and I were once good friends, but lately it hasn't been so. Lately, I've wanted her to give me space, and it's not that I don't like her anymore, or don't want to see her, I definitely still do. The issue is she brings baggage for me to unpack. It's not a lot, barely a bother, but how can I begin to deal with her stuff when Today had some stuff to deal with too, that I just finished unpacking?

All I want is some more time. Time to recover from Today, to sit in silence and relax in the freedom of nothingness. I don't hate Tomorrow... I just want her to stay one day away.
