Cat

Pt. 1
I come home to a friendly face,

It is a little friend of mine outside my window,

She is at my kitchen window,

So I decide I would like to do some work here where I am greeted nicely,

Although the freind only wants one thing for freindship,

And that is food,

I decided awhile ago that I would make her happy,

So I get back to my usual routine after work,

And that is to feed her,

The friend takes the form of a cute cat,

But I know her better,

She seems to like it when I give her bread,

So that's what I do,

I use my precious blade,

The friend that I love,

To gain another friend,

Everyday of the week,

But it's the same friend,

Although a work in progress

Pt. 2

I feed her everyday,

I love doing this,

It's like a long-term project,

I just need to be calm,

But if I am too calm I could fail,

So I try to finish off peacefully,

But she is just a darling,

I look in her eyes once more,

She takes the form of a cat,

But is truly just a rat,

So I once again go back to what I was doing,

My precious blade of mine,

I go back to finishing myself off
