Noice! My mom has always tried to make me do things and I know I disappoint her because of that, but she didn't know why I didn't want to do the things she wanted me to until recently. (for the past year technically, actually I take that back. 2 years!) :) Don't be the person on the outside, become the person on the inside.
Child_of_God Exactly thank you. I don't want to fit in, I just want to be myself. But I have to make my family happy even though i am not happy with myself.

I like this a lot, and I can relate. I hate it when people tell you to be a certain way. Maybe I don't want to fit in. I would rather not fit in by being myself, then fit in being someone I'm not.
