Why?

Why do we act so needy
Everyone seems so greedy.
No one will care
If anyone dare
To give a smile
Just for a while.
And let their happy come loose
It's like we're all stuck in a noose.
While everyone's trying
Most people are crying
And nobody cares at all.
We will all most likely fall
It's not like we're robots
We're just all distraught.
Why do we act so selfish?
It's not like you can cherish
The random things you find
You know it's all in your mind
So why do it at all?
You're only starting a brawl.
And when things are tough
It all ends up rough
It the human way
When matters will sway
To say things we don't mean to say.
