Wings
By Poet
Panic set in so deep,
Fluttering, terrified, tiny wings,
Spinning in circles.
Flying all around,
Falling to the ground.
Scared dont know what to do,
Not much will help this trial,
Coulda stumbled around for a mile
Before finding the door.
Suddenly, hands felt the feathers,
That led it outside to it’s treasures.
Nothing better than that secure trust,
That this would all turn out alright.
Finally it took beautiful flight,
Soaring in the sunny sky so bright.
I'm sure if that bird could whisper words,
It would have said, “Thank you ever so much, sir.”
