I do not like it when you talk.

You're words leave so many scars,

Sharp like daggers is what they are.

I am a bird trying to fly away,

You are the cage that keeps me down day after day.

I wish to be free from the venom you spit,

Yet still you destroy me bit by bit.

You are oblivious to what you've done,

To you my torture is so much fun.

I want to be free from the prison you've made,

But you will keep me here until I fade.

The kindness you show others is foreign to me,

My pleas are lost in the bottomless sea.
