Great revenge tale with a twist ending.

"It was the zero hour when the blind hunted came unaware to their hunter's blind." One of my favorite sentences in this magnificently told story. I believe I'll opt out of meeting Husband Number One....!

Very clever! Nothing like getting one over on the ghost.

When I read your story, the ending stumped me for a moment. I had to go back and re-check the date (June 1994) before I realized where this was going. The speaker in the tale is going to be Mark's guide, am I right? At any rate, this was a wonderful story! What a nice view of the Universe (and one I share).

Nicely done. Queen Elizabeth was one of a kind, and will be sorely missed.

All I can say is "wow". Reminds me of early work by Richard Matheson. Keep at it!
