A truly lovely mood piece. More, please.
As you gave me a lovely review, Ian, I can certainly return the favor. This is a very moving story. Eugenics is a horrible part of our history. As for the "disability" of deafness, I would hate to think of a world without Beethoven. Bravo, sir!
Totally delightful! I'm certain the afterlife (lives?) must be exactly like this. Thanks much for sharing your vision.
Nicely done. Queen Elizabeth was one of a kind, and will be sorely missed.
When I read your story, the ending stumped me for a moment. I had to go back and re-check the date (June 1994) before I realized where this was going. The speaker in the tale is going to be Mark's guide, am I right? At any rate, this was a wonderful story! What a nice view of the Universe (and one I share).
Whoa...I so did not see that coming. More, please!
Very clever! Nothing like getting one over on the ghost.
