It's not easy to blend practical realities with emotional turmoil. As a reader one can differ with the mindset but there is no escaping the powerful and personalised narrative.
Very interesting and certainly offbeat. Please do continue writing.
I read this story soon after it got posted and liked it then. With my subsequent reads it's increasingly obvious that the author knows how best to convey the touching narrative; probably it's the poet in him.
For a very well written story, I wonder why the 'I' is repeatedly 'i'..
As a reader, my first reaction was that the spell check is missing and was distracted. But then, does the author use the 'i' instead of 'I' to make some point? I couldn't tell, but would suggest the 'I' in capital letter be used.
Sometimes the finer points can be missed.
A courageous, powerful story.
Amid your painful helplessness, I saw the bond between you and your wife severely tested but withstanding the material trials. Very few among us can still claim the privilege of such strength in this sacred institution of love. My compliments to you and your wife for showing the way.
Coining the term, Taste of 'Distance'... is something only a creative and reflective mind could have thought of.
You certainly have the storytelling ability, and the imagination.
Lovely!! You vividly take the reader into the journey, sharing the moments and the places.
Maybe some para breaks would have been better but this comment of mine should not distract you from your creative, and beautifully captured, writing.
No ordinary mind could convey with such ruthless honesty.
Only a receptive and caring heart could bleed such anguish.
You write with painfully powerful clarity of thoughts and words. I have a feeling the healing process has already begun, else it would not have been possible to pen it all.
Fare well, my friend
