A very personal story. Don't doubt your work so much, have a little confidence! Besides if you're looking to improve just keep writing, you'll learn from experience.
As far as loving your best friend, I understand having other feelings rather than friendship (perhaps not quite as intense as love). It's best to tell them, I know it may be scary but you have to put it out there how you feel or they'll never know. It's horrible to be stuck wondering what 'could've been'. Besides, if she doesn't like you and she's mature about it you two can continue being friends. It's a little awkward at first but it gets better. Hang in there buddy!
Honestly I don't see where Apemann is coming from. I really enjoy your work and I feel it is almost always complete. Don't take the mean comments to heart, some people just don't have a filter. Keep writing, you're fantastic :)
There's a few errors here and there but they are easily fixable. I really like this idea, please continue. (I love the mention of her eyes and the way he could tell her life is quite pleasant)
I've been trying to keep up with this series in my small amounts of free time lately, I'd like to see where this could head.
While definitely interesting I found this story to be a rather good angle on a normal action.
I liked this poem and how it was put together. Good job, as always.
