Off the coast came waves
Crash and rage against rocks and heart
A cliff overlooks reflections of memories

Silver tide and golden rays
I gave you the key to the impossible kingdom
And without warning, tossed it into the seas

Fish and birds fill the blue
With many colorful plants and creatures
But don’t do the least bit inside myself

Still the sun shines bright
reaching below, ‘neath twilight water
Masking the nature, drown emotion I hold

Thought we could be two turtles in the sea
Like otters, holding hands with each other

Broken and torn into million pieces
