There’s a little ghost in the bare trees
crying in the rushed midnight breeze
Spoken words she heard, what is it they may be?
Nervous to the bones she froze, decipher this reality
Ghost went ‘round her head, “Poisoned me!”

Now it starts when it’s dusk
For 31 October days

On these haunted nights, haunted nights
Horrors they stalk and they scare

Creak of a wooden floorboard
behind his bedroom door
A shadow sweeps to his parents room
Pulling the blanket up close
He heard a scuffle and a scream
Footsteps pace back to his room, he pretends to
be asleep

It starts when it’s dusk
All 31 October days, October days

On these haunted nights, haunted nights
Horrors they stalk and they scare

You better beware

Sometime this horrid month
in our minds
A thought of despair
creep in our thoughts
and runs a shiver of the spine
Still there is an end to wicked spells
Just check beneath the bed, and lock your doors
Make sure to be tucked in, tucked in tight!
