Why I asked myself, why do I have to find my partner with a pig noise? Who the hell does that?

I made the pig noise and found my partner.

The person I hate the most.

Astrid.

I groaned, as loud as humanly possible so everyone knows she is the meanest person alive.

Ten Years Ago

“Astrid!” Zero shouted, “My mom is letting me have a sleepover! You wanna come?” she asked batting her light blue eyes.

“Do I ever?” Astrid answered snatching the invitation from her hand.

(like she snatches weave)

~Present day~

Zero’s POV

Being the prettiest girl in school is a full-time job. You have a bunch of cards in the locker waiting for you. The thing is….

I don’t like it.

“Zero!” my best friend shouted, “All the boys are looking for you”

“In the hall.” I finished.

Same place

Same time

After the same class.

Same thing every day.

Now you probably wonder

Well, I’m pretty and I don’t get this treatment.

The thing is I’m black with blue eyes.

No eye contacts.

And the harry potter glasses make me look cute to some people.

That’s why Astrid hates me.

Because she was the popular one.

Zero’s POV

“Why did you tell them the actual place I’ll be?” I asked Lily, “I told you to distract them,”

I yelled-whispered to her.

Then I got pulled into the closet.

Dustin’s POV

I pulled her into the closet cause one she’s hot

And two she seemed desperate.

“Don’t scream,” I told her, “I’ll help you,” she thought for a second as I stared into her pretty light blue eyes.

We were close, I could smell her blueberry scented shampoo from her hair. So, I kissed her and she didn’t push away.

She put my name with yellow hearts

Her Favorite color like the stars

Zero’s POV

I locked the door; I didn’t push away because he was my crush.

I knew who he was.

“I know it’s you, Dustin,” I told him after our long hands-on session, “I liked you since middle school,” I told him as he kissed my neck.

Zero’s POV

“Your beauty,” he stated, “I don’t even have the words for them,” he told me as we were walking out the closet holding hands,

“I get that a lot,” I said as I squeezed my hand

Lily, my best friend, looked shocked to see me holding hands with someone.

"Who are you and what are you doing with my bestie?" Lilly asked Dustin

Then he kissed me.

Lily's POV

I don't know if I can trust him.

I don't know if he trusts me.

But I know I'm watching him.

Zero's POV

As I pulled into the driveway of the school with my friend and her brother Dustin, she bumped into Jax

Whom I quickly looked away from,

I've been avoiding him for months.

But surprisingly his attention was focused on Amelia.

Dustin and I went inside Starbucks for our coffee while Jax and Amelia talked for what seemed like an hour.

Zero's POV

When I got to school with my brother, I got a text from Dustin telling him that he needed to tell me something in the Janitor's closet.

When I got there I saw him making out with Astrid.

My cousin was right.

Not everything is found.

Author's POV

After seeing what Dustin and Astrid were doing, Zero gave love a lot more chances.

But then gave up after what seemed like one hundred.

She realized love isn't like fairy tales.

But she knew if love was a promise,

She would be hella happy.
