I'm the girl that waves too much,

the one that smiles a lot,

I'm the girl that says, "sparkly!"

and acts like i dont care a bit

about things that actually are scary,

about the future, about my past.

I'm the girl who sucks up her feelings,

so I'm not a burden to others.

I'm the girl that likes to be there for you,

but tries not to ask you to do the same.

because i'm the girl

thats scared once you see

past my shield

you'll abandon me.
