laundry

sitting here in my lonely little laundry room

i'm just waiting for an answer to my calls

nobody's picked up in i don't know how long

but that's fine, 'cause i mean,

who would?

i wouldn't.

but for a while, i thought he would

but earlier,

he told me he wasn't sure

about what we were

and what we could be

but before i could say

"i need you to stay"

...

he was gone

he was free

i was left here to be

waiting

for him

to pick up

if i sit here long enough and soak in all these chemicals

do you think my brain and heart would and bleach and i'd have a fresh start?

if not then that's okay

tide pods are better anyways

time is passing by and i think that i'm running out

maybe if i had tried a little harder it would have been fine

i guess not, 'cause nobody's even noticed

the chemicals are sinking in and i don't think that i can breathe

i wish i could have said goodbye

but maybe they'll be better off

i thought that bleach would work

it didn't,

that's okay

tide pods worked better anyways.
