No words can change the past,

No action could alter,

Any thing we used to have

In a ‘friendship happily ever after,'

That didn't end so happily.

The jokes said in band class

About how he broke up with me

(even though we were never dating),

Only make it all worse.

I thought I was ok,

But then they brought it all up(again).

Re-re-re-re opened a really deep wound.

I just try to forget

Or at least forgive

So that this hurt and untrust

Don't hurt my relationship with Him,

The one and only God

That loves me ever so much.

He is the Father of Lights,

The only one that can make my path clear.
