Never Really Disappear

When you have to say goodbye to someone

they never really disapear

you will still see them, just in a different way

you'll see them in a pretty sunset

or a pair of shoes you know they'd like

You'll see them in their favorite team

or walking on their favorite hike

You'll see them on their birthday

or in the smell of their shampoo

You'll see them in their favorite movie

or in the notes that they wrote you

You'll see them in a place they liked

or in the clothes they left behind

maybe not there in person

but always in your mind
