I stare at Niko as I see her face growing red as she looks at me out of the corners of her eyes. She keeps her eyes focused on Lucas.

Like he's her anchor.

"Lou can I talk to Niko alone please?"

He mumbles and walks out the room reluctantly.

She looks at me and wraps her legs around my waist.
