Art definitely makes me happy. When I’m bored, I just start scribbling all over my math homework, or when I can’t sleep, I turn the light on and try to redesign my entire room again. I collect stickers and make earrings with metal wiring and beads. Hell, it might not even be art that I make. It can be someone else’s art(though I don’t think YouTube videos count).

The world moves so fast these days that I’m trying to find something that can temporarily freeze the moment; an escape from reality, if you’re looking for a cynical point of view. My favorite “escape” is probably books. Or movies, or even, yep, you guessed it, random videos on the web that I could spend hours on, lost in the realm of the internet.

But most of my time, my head needs more entertainment than just sitting there and watching stupid videos. So much like the world like I’m trying to escape, I prefer to move fast, do multiple things at a time and finish everything as soon as possible. Most of my time is on multitasking, as in, drawing, digital designing, reading or even making a video of my own while I watch a video.

So, what makes me happy is things I can use to ground me down, to help me deal with...well, everything.

Music also makes me happy. A jolly tune can cheer me up as much as a bad pop song about love lost and found again can make me cringe. Even though I have no music talent whatsoever, it is a very big part of me, since my room is plastered with albums and vinyl records as well as Spotify Codes I can scan on my phone to get to a specific song.

I think it’s the small things in life that make me happy. Not grand like a mansion, or a golden Maserati(but if I do get my hands on one, I’m not complaining). It’s books, or a couple of good songs, or videos.

But not only physical things I can entertain myself with, but with people too. Especially friends. People I can laugh with, tease, jokingly punch. Unlike internet memes and videos, those moments add up. They mean something.
