The Story Cascade

I can feel the deep emotion of conflict in this poem. "suicide is on my mind" in stanza 2 is an example of the effect. It also seems like the speaker is struggling with relationship. The shifting subjects about love and anguish shows the struggle. Although it is hard to understand the meaning at first reading, the overall theme of conflict in relationship is clearly communicated.

Wait... "You" could be the speaker referring to him/herself?

I really liked the first half of the writing. I can imagine the speaker on the street listening to music or tying the shoes.
