There is a lot going on here about clinging onto the past, loss, mistrust. It's a great tale that tells me that we all have a little superman in our lives somewhere. Sometimes he might be hiding in plain sight.

I completely relate to your insomnia. Its torturous and doesn't let go. Your mind begins to play a fill-in-the-blank game with reality until, one day, you find that your dreams have intruded on your reality. I hate that you have to go through that.
