A few grammatical errors, but the idea is brilliant

I enjoyed it.
One thing I noticed though was maybe a little too much description at the intense moments e.g. "...entering the water, if only up to the laces of her hazel brown walking boots". In my opinion, it detracted from the tension. In other parts though your descriptions worked well.

Not normally a great lover of poetry, but I thought this was great. Well done!
