I really love the idea and how you executed it. Description was lovely and really drew the reader in. The only problem I saw was in the "light" it was difficult to keep up without any previous context to the story. A prologue could help with that. Overall I thought it was very good and I hope you continue it!

I really liked this poem. I feel slang can be used appropriately, and it definitely was in this one. I didn't really run into any snags other than a little in the beginning when I did see a small amount of "forced" rhyming. Otherwise I thought it was rather lovely
