The tears of the sky poured down with thunder. It’s the memory I ignore but I can’t erase...I wait for the moon, only to find my demons in my slumber.

I pack my things up, knowing I can’t stay, I step outside and leave, needing space, needing to get away.

And now, I would pay with all the money I have just to see you smile again.

Your fingertips can’t ignite what the sky can’t embrace.

I pulled up my sleeve, exposing the small barcode tattoo on my left wrist. It was a stark contrast over my pale skin.

In a night with no stars and no moon, there was a shadow in the darkness.

Like a dream she had drifted from the room,  And like a dream she seemed unreal, and like a dream she was gone.

I wish I could take back all the words I said, because I would rather be in your arms instead. I hope you find your Muse one day, but for now, I’ll pretend I’m okay.

I should have seen the hate in your eyes. I should have known your perfect disguise.

There’s a monster here, crawling in my bed. I can hear its breath. Harsh, raspy, taunting. Through my nightmares it’s well fed. I’m too scared to turn around, it’s too daunting.
